This amber holds the spirit of the quest for freedom. It has a story, a part of history, a part of lives in quest for for human rights.
As the Nazi Army was invading Poland, a young girl named Mary, along with her parents and grandmother, packed what belongings they could carry, and started on a long walk out of tyranny. Mary, her mother and her grandmother put on what jewelry they had, including several long necklaces of Baltic Amber. On their weary trek they sold what they carried for food, lodging, and transportation. Finally reaching America, there was only one necklace left. This nugget is a part of it ... representing the Quest for Freedom.
